June 27: Rapid Fat Loss ~ A Review

When I started the Rapid Fat Loss plan, back in May, I told you I wasn't going to review the plan until after I had completed a round and seen what kind of rebound effect there was afterwards.

I began RFL on May 12.

Beginning Stats:

Weight: 185

Height: 5'8"
Bust: 41
Waist: 32
Hips: 40

I finished RFL on June 20th.

Weight: 168
Height: 5'8"
Bust: 41"
Waist: 30"
Hips: 38"

7 days after completing RFL.

Weight: 170
Bust: 41"
Waist: 31"
Hips: 38.5"

So in total, I maintained a 15 pound weight loss after 5 weeks of hardcore dieting.  The inches that were gone fluctuated slightly but still dropped.

The first week off has not been easy.  It's tough to go from 600 calories a day to 1800 without feeling  rather stuffed.  My stomach has also really rebelled at some of the carbs, especially breads.  My calories are not 100% up to maintenance levels yet but I'm getting closer all the time.

My review:  This is the toughest diet I have ever been on.  It absolutely works IF YOU FOLLOW IT METICULOUSLY.  Is it worth the $50 price tag?  Absolutely.  What would you pay to lose 15 pounds in a little over a month?  After my two week break am I going to do it again?  Probably.  It's hard to commit to such a drastic plan but I am getting so close to my final goal, I would love to see all the weight fall off in a hurry.

I strongly suggest this plan if you are determined to take off some weight that has been stubbornly hanging on.  It's excellent to jump start a more moderate weight loss plan, to take off those stubborn last few pounds, or to burst through a plateau.  It is also a good plan for people with insulin resistance issues and PCOS.

Best of luck if you decide to try it.  Feel free to ask me any questions you like.  If I don't know the answer I can direct you to a place where you can find it.  Questions about my personal experience with the plan are welcome also.
